Narcotic

A Narcotic is a chemical agent which depresses the CNS (Central Nervous System) and may lead to unconciousness, and - potentially - death through respiratory failure. Many chemicals have narcotic properties, and exposure to them may give an initial feeling of euphoria before the depression.
